I fell in love with cars as a kid, starting with my sister's 1974 Ford Pinto. I secretly wanted that car to be my first, so I gave it my all, cleaning and polishing it to perfection—even though I didn’t yet know it was called detailing or reconditioning. My hopes of claiming the Pinto as my own were dashed when my hard work made it more attractive to a buyer. They sold the car, but my passion for making vehicles look their best was born.

After that, I started buying beaters and reconditioning them using every trick I knew, and asking questions to learn more. As a kid, I flipped cars to earn extra money. Then, with a friend, I set off for California and opened my first shop, Finishing Touches. It was humble beginnings—we worked out of a tiny garage and even slept there at night. At just 24 years old, I had a lot to learn about running a business, but my love for restoring vehicles kept me going.

Unfortunately, that shop fell apart due to bad luck and some poor decisions. An accident involving one of our workers damaged a dealership vehicle, and we lost our biggest client. My partner fell into bad habits, and I decided to step away. For a time, I sold cars and then worked in telecommunications for over 20 years.

In 2005, I returned to my passion and started Bubbles Total Car Care. I popped in a spot below that we played for a while, I hope you enjoy the footage!  Over the next decade, I worked through city regulations and challenges, eventually selling the property to rethink my approach. 

Which brings us to today. I still love vehicles of all shapes, colors, sizes, and capabilities. Now, I’m bringing that passion to the Town of Binghamton. We’ve repurposed an old refinery building on the south side, and the town has been a breath of fresh air from the very beginning. After renovating the property and preparing to launch, I’m proud to introduce Park Avenue Detail!
